Get a box of organic local veg delivered direct to your doorstep, or buy direct from the farm shop on Clapham junction.

 

Buy seasonal organic herbs and veg from The Plot’s two market garden sites whilst supporting Lancaster District’s Farm Start training programme – supporting new entrants into sustainable farming. You could also gift a FoodFriends membership to a family member this Christmas.

If you fancy a day out you could visit Low Sizergh Barn and Growing Well to pick up a range of goods – including meat. The site’s farmshop offers organic raw milk, bread, meat from locally reared animals, organic vegetables, free range eggs, 60 or so cheeses, jams and chutneys.

(held in Lancaster’s Central Market square every Wednesday and Saturday) often has a stall selling jams, chutneys, locally made cider vinegars and honey amongst other things (free range eggs included.)

 

A regular trader at Lancaster’s seasonal markets and Potato Day, Claver Hill now makes a wide range of chutneys, jams, marmalades, jellies and even cider. When they aren’t attending local community events, you can contact the group directly via their Facebook page to pick up orders on a Sunday.
