Lancaster & Morecambe Greenpeace is working with the National Emergency Briefing organisers and other local groups to bring screenings of the People’s Emergency Briefing film to local venues.

The film, hosted by Chris Packham, is based on the landmark briefing given by scientists in Westminster in November and is designed for a mass audience (ages 16+).  Full details available via the following link:  National Emergency Briefing

This eye-opening film brings together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence on how the cost of living, food security, extreme weather and health affects us all.

After the film, there is time to share how you feel and join an open discussion about what it means for our communities and what we can do here locally.

This is a great opportunity to raise awareness and facilitate discussion in our local area across all members of the public, reaching as wide an audience as possible.  We hope it will encourage people to step up and lobby our MPs about the need for new legislation to tackle this accelerating national security threat.
