Global Link ran a series of weekly food growing, preservation and cooking/recipe creation sessions for asylum seekers and refugees, supported by the Pots of Possibility Fund. It resulted in a beautiful booklet, compiling recipes and stories from the participants.
The food wasn’t just creative and delicious: Some of the ingredients were grown locally at Claver Hill community food growing project.
The recipe booket was published at the end of the project, and it showcases the cuisine of participants’ home countries created with ingredients that were locally sourced and home-grown.
Download the booklet and come along on a culinary journey around the world, through the eyes of North Lancashire residents.
