Lancaster’s Spring Market
Taste seasonally-inspired food, meet local food producers and discover Lancaster’s bubbling local food and craft scene.
On Friday 13 March from 10:00-17:00 Lancaster’s market square will be bustling with local food producers, vegetable seedlings and flowers, community food projects, music and local craftspeople.
The Spring Market is the first of four seasonal markets coordinated by FoodFutures every year. The markets celebrate our surrounding environment and the diversity of produce the different seasons bring. The Spring Market will celebrate the lengthening days and the start of a new growing season with local food, crafts and music.
POP-UP LANDED COMMUNITY KITCHEN
A pop-up community meal that celebrates local, seasonal ingredients and brings people together. Join in from 12noon to 2pm for hearty food, good conversation, and to hear more about what we’re doing to provide food that sustains people and the planet.
AND THE REPAIR TENT IS BACK:
- Bring your bikes which need a little TLC and Sunflower Cycles will be ready to help you out.
- Lancaster and Morecambe Makers can talk you through woodwork and IT projects.
- And Sewing Cafe Lancaster will show you how to mend clothes and craft with textiles and yarn.
