Water harvest design workshop

Join Dr Rod Everett from Backsbottom farm to learn how to capture, store and allow water to flow across land in a way that creates diverse habitats, supports food growing and reduces the risk of flooding.

This session will cover:
– Doing a site survey and identifying catchment areas.
– Observing how water flows across a site.
– Understanding soil type and drainage.
– Different techniques for supporting water harvesting and soil infiltration.
– Creating a water harvest design for Summerhouse Farm.
