Spring Into Action: building our local food movements
Calling all food champions, compost champions, gleaners, citizen journalists, community chefs, and FoodFriends, we need your input, enthusiasm, and ideas for building our local food movements!
The North Lancashire Food Champion network aims to connect people across the area, support people and community groups where needed, and enable them to link with different projects across the FoodFutures partnership and network. In doing this, it aims to pull together the compost network, community chef network, citizen journalists, gleaners, and FoodFriends to build a stronger network.
A movement building canvas (a tool for shaping how a movement functions), has informed FoodFutures approach to doing the above so far. We are now keen to reflect on how things are going and hear your feedback and ideas for how we can build more resilient, fun, and better connected networks going forward.
This session will give an introduction to the movement building canvas and the various FoodFutures networks and will provide plenty of space for sharing experiences and shaping plans and approaches going forward. You will also come away with a clearer idea of your place in the network and how your time and energy connects to a wider movement.
