Monthly Citizen Journalism Training Session
Are you interested in writing for a magazine? Are you keen to have a local food system that is healthy, sustainable and fair?
Then you could be a ‘citizen journalists’ (volunteer writer) for THRIVE, North Lancashire’s community food magazine.
If you’ve written for THRIVE before or are interested in doing so, join the monthly citizen journalism meetups for a chance to get some tips on writing in a way that attracts readers, and to chat about any ideas you have articles over a cup of tea.
Whether you’re new to writing for magazines, or experienced but want some inspiration and a chance to get published, we hope you’ll find these meetings enjoyable and inspiring.
The next session will be on Tuesday 25 November, 5.30-6.30pm at The Cornerstone, Sulyard St, Lancaster LA1 1PX
To find out more about what being a citizen journalist means and to get inspired, read this blog post by Catherine Stott, one of THRIVE magazine’s active citizen journalists.
