Apple picking in Heysham and Slyne
The North Lancashire Gleaning Network will be out in local gardens on Friday 21 August 2026. We will be in Heysham from 9am for dessert apples, and will move to Slyne-with-Hest for the afternoon for cookers. Next week, we will distribute the fruit to food club members, apple presses, and the chef’s network.
This will be our first apple glean for this season! To join in, please sign up now or contact Jay for more info.
