Join the North Lancashire Food Champion Network to help build an active, diverse and place-based food movement.

The North Lancashire Food Champion network aims to connect people across the area, support people and community groups where needed and enable them to link with different projects across the FoodFutures partnership.

Whatever your passion, there are lots of ways for you to get involved. From informal social networking events, to skill shares, to active volunteering on various projects… We aim to assist you in finding your place and a role that matches your interests and skills.

In many ways this is a food citizen role – playing an active part in democratically shaping our local food system towards one that is healthy, resilient and fair.

How to get involved

Step 1: Register your interest by completing this short form:

Step 2: Join a Food Champion induction session. You can book and find dates of upcoming inductions through the FoodFutures events calendar

Step 3: This will be shaped by you, with support from the Food Champion coordinator and wider FoodFutures and Food Champion network…
