Yellow Legged Asian Hornet Talk

This talk and presentation with Fred Ayers from Lune Valley Beekeepers will focus on the invading Yellow Legged Asian hornet and the risks it presents to those wishing to grow their own food in gardens and allotments.

Fred will guide us through what steps people can take to reduce these risks and help to limit the hornet’s spread.

The talk is part of the Halton Spring Food Shindig, which also includes a Seasonal Community Meal, Food Champion induction, foraging and cooking sessions, food tasting, and a seed and seedling swap.
