Letters to Tomorrow
Come and join the wonderful writers at the Nib Crib for a Letters to Tomorrow Workshop on Sunday 25th June between 12pm and 3pm. This is an amazing opportunity to create a permanent record of your hopes, dreams and wishes for someone in the future. Tell that special person what you hope their life will be like, or perhaps let them know our very real concerns for generations to come.
It is a fabulous chance to document our concerns, personal efforts and real desire to preserve and improve our wonderful world.
The Nib Crib is located under shops with Victorian wooden canopies, on West Street in Morecambe. It is a small street and the premises are easy to find. There is a large church opposite the row of shops where the event is held. This is a free event but donations for the upkeep of the shop are gratefully received.
In June 2023, a range of organisations, groups, charities, businesses, individuals and change-makers in Lancaster, Morecambe and the Lune Valley region will be taking part in the largest nationwide event for climate and nature to highlight the need for urgent action in this area. The local North Lancashire Green Week highlights the need to come together to collaboratively address the climate and nature emergency and look at ways our local communities can work together to make a real and lasting difference.
The local programme of events is coordinated by FoodFutures, North Lancashire’s sustainable food network. It will include Lancaster’s Midsummer Market, an open day and celebration at Claver Hill Community Food Growing Project, the opening of a new play park at Greaves Park and a whole range of informative, fun, and engaging events and activities.
Get in touch if your group or organisation would like to add an event to the programme or needs to support with organising an event. All are welcome to join in for a fantastic range of events, markets, talks, walks and more.
