Lancaster’s Midwinter Market
Taste seasonally-inspired recipes, meet local food producers, and discover Lancaster’s bubbling local food and crafts scene.
On Friday the 16th December from 10:00-17:00 Market Square, Market Street and Cheapside in the centre of Lancaster will be bustling with local food producers, community food projects, music and local craftspeople, as LESS hosts this year’s Midwinter Market.
The market is part of LESS’s ongoing ‘Growing Our Local Food Economy’ project, and aims to celebrate the midwinter, the diversity of local food and crafts, and bring local farmers and independent businesses into the heart of Lancaster.
We are looking forward to a bumper crop of stalls for this market. We expect traders selling local organic produce, apples, preserves, eggs and bread, as well as street food, gin and speciality flours and nuts. Crafts people working with beeswax, yarn, jewellery, willow and much more will offer gifts adn decorations for the season. Keep an eye on this page and our social media streams for updates.
