Growing Well Open Day

Growing Well is inviting the general public to their Open Day at their Low Sizergh site near Kendal.

Admission is free, and you will be able to meet the Growing Well team, find out about their work and even get some advice for your own garden or allotment.

On a ‘field walk’ you will hear about how their team and beneficiaries work to make the best use of the outdoor beds and polytunnels, growing produce for their Crop Share veg box scheme and wholesale customers.

There are activities for children (and grown ups), with plants available to buy and a pre-loved book stall.
