Growing Food & Community: plant propagation event

Successful propagation and seed sowing will enable you to get your plants off to a flying start. This practical session will include:

• The basics of different types of propagation
• Some examples of seed-sowing techniques
• A chance for practical experience

Join organic market gardener and FarmStart trainer Dionysios “Dennis” Touliatos at The Plot on Tuesday, 11 March 2025, from 11am – 1pm for a hands-on introduction to plant propagation!

This training will cover the basics of seed biology, choosing the right growing media, understanding seed needs, and creating ideal propagation conditions for different vegetables.
