Forage & Thrive: A foraging walk and practical workshop
Forage & Thrive is an afternoon session with Julia Russell, combining a guided foraging walk and workshop making wild medicine to boost your health as we move into autumn.
Foraging for wild food and wild medicine offers a wealth of opportunities to reconnect with nature.
Whilst outside, you will learn to identify plants, information about their properties, some historical uses and folklore. We will forage together along the way.
Back indoors, you will learn how to prepare your own foraged medicine.
Suitable for beginners and those with some foraging experience (there is always something more to learn!).
This is a small group (maximum 8 participants), “slow” event lasting approx. 4 hours.
We are likely to cover less than 4 miles. There may be some uneven terrain and slippery surfaces, so this might not suit everyone.
This session is ideal for those who want to slow down and savour the connection with nature that foraging brings and how that can improve health on many levels.
Tickets are £35.00.
