Lacto-fermentation workshop: kimchi, sauerkraut and kvass

Would you like to learn how to make your own kimchi, sauerkraut and other fermented food?

This hand-on workshop explores the environmental and health benefits of lacto-fermented food and will equip you with the skills and the confidence to make your own fermented food at home. Taste homemade lacto-fermented food in the workshop and take home your own filled jars and recipe cards.

Saturday 23 March, 1.30-3.30pm

Friends Meeting House, Social Room (ground floor)

The session will be run by Vaso Makri, who runs ‘A Taste of Home’ project at Global Link and has wide expertise of traditional fermentation methods from East Europe.

Open to both people with no experience with an interest in getting started and people with previous experience wishing to refresh their knowledge or perfect their skills.
