Free Citizen Journalism Training
Are you interested in writing for a magazine?
Are you keen to have a local food system that is healthy, sustainable and fair?
FoodFutures’ popular North Lancashire magazine THRIVE is holding a training day for ‘citizen journalists’ (volunteer writers). This will take place on Saturday 28th June in Lancaster City from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The training is free, and includes lunch.
The day will include:
- A talk from a local journalist
- Practical sessions on writing an interesting article for THRIVE
- A talk from the best-known citizen-journalist-produced newspaper The Bristol Cable
Whether you’re new to writing for magazines, or experienced but want some inspiration and a chance to get published, we hope you’ll find the day enjoyable and inspiring.
