Autumn Foraging Workshop
Join herbalist Lesley Hoyle to celebrate the season with a gentle walk around the river Lune, identifying medicinal and edible wild native plants.
In the kitchen we’ll transform our autumnal harvest into jewel like treasures – ketchups, syrups, savoury infusions, jellies and more – so you can take home a bottle or two of hedgerow goodness.
We’ll share a nourishing meal together, complimented by the taste of our foraged finds.
Meet by Crook O’Lune car park and dress for all weathers. The walking route will be shared with attendees no later than 1 week prior to the event. Car sharing / transport can be arranged where needed.

This event is part of Share the Harvest, a seasonal festival celebrating locally grown varieties of apples and pears, rescuing unharvested fruit and raising awareness of food waste through a range of community events. FoodFutures and the Closing Loops project invite everyone in North Lancashire to pitch in and harvest, preserve, celebrate and of course eat apples and pears this autumn.
